Last updated: 20 July 2026
These Booking Terms apply to accommodation reservations made directly with Prague For You through our website, booking engine, email, telephone or other direct communication.

2. Making a reservation
Before completing a reservation, the guest is shown the selected accommodation, dates, number of guests, total price, payment conditions and applicable cancellation policy.
A reservation becomes confirmed when:
- We issue a booking confirmation; and
- Any required payment, deposit or card authorisation has been successfully completed.
The guest must provide accurate contact, guest and payment information. We may cancel a reservation if the required payment is not completed within the stated deadline or if materially incorrect information is provided.
For reservations made through Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia or another booking platform, the conditions displayed by that platform for the reservation also apply. In the event of a conflict, the specific conditions shown for the reservation take priority.
3. Prices and payment
The total accommodation price and any mandatory charges are displayed before the reservation is completed.
City tax, optional services and additional charges are included or excluded as stated in the booking summary and booking confirmation.
Payment may be collected at the time of booking, before arrival or according to the payment schedule displayed for the selected rate.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Prague For You does not normally receive or store complete payment-card details.
Any currency conversion charges or additional fees imposed by the guest’s bank or card provider are the guest’s responsibility.
4. Cancellation policy
The cancellation conditions displayed for the selected rate before booking and repeated in the booking confirmation form part of the accommodation agreement.
Flexible reservations
- Cancellation is free until the deadline stated during booking.
- After that deadline, the cancellation fee stated during booking applies.
- If the guest does not arrive, the no-show fee stated in the reservation applies.
Non-refundable reservations
- The full reservation price is due according to the payment conditions displayed during booking.
- Cancellation, no-show or early departure does not entitle the guest to a refund, except where required by applicable law.
- A request to change the dates or accommodation may be refused or treated as a cancellation and a new reservation.
Special reservations
Group reservations, long stays, promotional offers and individually negotiated reservations may have separate payment and cancellation conditions. These conditions will be provided in writing and take priority over these general terms.
How to cancel
Cancellation requests must be submitted through the booking platform used for the reservation or sent in writing to:
A cancellation becomes effective when it is received by us. Guests should keep the cancellation confirmation.
5. Changes, no-shows and early departures
Changes to a reservation are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.
Changing the dates, accommodation, number of guests or other reservation details may change the total price. Any price difference must be accepted and paid before the change is confirmed.
If the guest does not arrive, arrives after the reservation has been treated as a no-show or leaves before the confirmed departure date, unused nights are not refundable unless the applicable cancellation conditions state otherwise.
6. No 14-day withdrawal right
Accommodation booked for specific dates is not subject to the standard 14-day right of withdrawal that applies to certain online consumer contracts.
The guest’s right to cancel is therefore governed by the cancellation conditions selected during booking and stated in the booking confirmation.
7. Check-in, check-out and guest registration
Unless otherwise confirmed:
- Check-in is available from 16:00.
- Check-out must be completed by 11:00.
Early check-in, late check-out and luggage storage are subject to availability and may involve an additional charge.
All guests must complete any legally required registration or online check-in and provide the information required under Czech law.
Access instructions and codes may be withheld until:
- Required guest registration is complete;
- Required payments have been received; and
- Any other stated check-in requirements have been fulfilled.
8. Occupancy and guest conduct
Only registered guests included in the reservation may stay in the accommodation.
The maximum occupancy must not be exceeded without our prior written approval. Additional guests may be refused or charged according to the applicable price.
Guests must:
- Respect neighbours, common areas and quiet hours;
- Avoid excessive noise, parties and events;
- Not smoke inside the accommodation or building;
- Not engage in illegal, dangerous or disruptive activities;
- Use the accommodation and its equipment responsibly; and
- Follow safety instructions and property-specific house rules.
Pets are permitted only where approved in advance and may be subject to an additional fee.
Serious or repeated breaches of these rules may result in termination of the stay without a refund for unused nights, to the extent permitted by law.
9. Access codes and security
Access codes, keys and entry instructions are provided only for the confirmed stay.
Guests must:
- Keep access codes confidential;
- Not share them with unauthorised persons;
- Ensure that doors and windows are properly secured; and
- Immediately report lost keys, exposed codes or security concerns.
The reasonable costs resulting from lost keys, damaged locks, replacement access devices or avoidable security interventions may be charged to the responsible guest.
10. Damage, excessive cleaning and additional charges
The lead guest is responsible for the conduct of all guests and visitors connected with the reservation.
Guests may be charged the reasonable cost of:
- Damage to the accommodation, building or its contents;
- Missing items;
- Lost keys or replacement access devices;
- Smoking inside the property;
- Excessive cleaning;
- Unauthorised guests or pets; and
- Additional services requested during the stay.
Where a security deposit or card authorisation applies, this will be disclosed before booking or before check-in.
Documented charges may be deducted from an applicable security deposit or requested after the stay. This does not limit either party’s legal rights.
11. Problems and complaints
Guests must report any material problem as soon as reasonably possible so that we have an opportunity to investigate and correct it.
Urgent problems during the stay should be reported using the contact details supplied in the booking confirmation or guest portal.
When assessing a complaint, we may request photographs, videos or other reasonable evidence.
Failure to report a problem during the stay may affect our ability to provide an immediate remedy, but it does not remove any mandatory consumer rights.
12. Changes or cancellation by us
If the confirmed accommodation becomes unavailable because of a serious technical, safety or operational problem, we may offer:
- Comparable or better replacement accommodation; or
- A refund of the affected accommodation amount paid directly to us.
If suitable replacement accommodation is offered and accepted, the reservation will continue with the replacement accommodation.
We may cancel or terminate a reservation where necessary because of fraud, non-payment, serious safety concerns, illegal activity or a serious breach of these terms.
13. Liability
We will provide the accommodation with reasonable care and in accordance with the confirmed reservation.
We are not responsible for interruptions or events outside our reasonable control, including failures of public utilities, telecommunications, transport services, public authorities or third-party services.
Where possible, we will take reasonable steps to reduce disruption.
Guests are responsible for securing their personal belongings. Our responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged property is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
14. Force majeure
Neither party is responsible for a failure or delay caused by an event outside its reasonable control.
If such an event prevents us from providing the confirmed accommodation, we may provide suitable alternative accommodation or refund the affected unused accommodation amount.
If the guest cancels because of circumstances affecting the guest’s journey or ability to travel, the cancellation conditions of the selected rate continue to apply unless mandatory law requires otherwise or we agree differently in writing.
Travel insurance is recommended, particularly for non-refundable reservations.
15. Personal data
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Information may be processed for reservation management, payments, communication, legally required guest registration, security and the provision of accommodation services.
16. Applicable law
These terms and the accommodation agreement are governed by Czech law.
Nothing in these terms removes any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply to the guest under Czech or European Union law.
17. Alternative dispute resolution
We encourage guests to contact us directly first so that we can try to resolve any complaint.
If a consumer dispute cannot be resolved directly, the consumer may submit a proposal for alternative dispute resolution to:

18. Version of these terms
The version of these terms in force when the reservation is completed applies to that reservation.
We may update these terms for future reservations. Changes do not apply retroactively to an already confirmed reservation unless required by law or agreed by both parties.
